Texas Online Parent-Taught Driver Education Course
Those who take this course will receive a state-approved driver education certificate.
You must be at least 14 to take this course and 15 to get your learner’s permit.
This course includes the required parent-taught behind-the-wheel training!

Course Information:
The Texas
Drivers License Course is organized into 8 units, each of which addresses a different aspect of driving safety. In order to make the Texas Teen Driver Ed Course enjoyable, the creators have incorporated graphics, video clips, and audio clips in to each unit. The Texas Teen Driver Ed Course is 100% online and can be completed from any computer with internet access. During the course you will take short multiple choice quizzes. The quizzes are automatically graded. You will be provided with feedback on any incorrect answers so that you will know which material you need to study before taking the final exam. Driving School US provides all registered users with free permit practice tests. These tests are written specifically to help you prepare for the DPS permit test.
Final Exam:
In order to receive your completion certificate, you must complete the final exam. This exam is made up of 50 multiple choice questions. You only need to receive a grade of 80% on the final exam in order to pass the Texas Driver Education Course. You may retake final exam until you pass.
Completion Certificate:
Your state-approved Certificate of Completion will be processed on the day that you pass the final exam. Once you receive your certificate, you must present it to the DPS in order to take the written permit test. If you are 15 or over, you should apply for Texas Instruction Permit after the first 6 hours of course instruction. At the end of the course we provide you with instructions for how to enroll in the Parent-Taught Driver Education Program. If you have further questions, please contact customer support.
